My name is Susanne McLeod, and I am a casual artist who also works a full time job. I felt there was local artistic niche that needed to be filled, so here I am! I take your photos and turn them into new works of art. These works of art can be completely whimsical or semi-realistic (see my portfolio for examples).
How we Started
In my late teens I discovered the wonderful world of Photoshop, and all the magic it could create. I would spend my spare time taking subjects (at this point usually animals), and adding them to scenes to create a new narrative. Once I completed my university degrees (ironically nothing related to art) I took a 10 year hiatus, and it was not until I became a mom that I jumped back in. I was not able to afford the cost of having frequent professional photos, so I created my own using pictures I took of my littles. The joy they get out of seeing my latest creations of them is the best feeling in the world. I would like to give others the chance to have extra-special photos, but in a more affordable way.
Ordering Information
I am only doing local limited to Prince George, BC and surrounding areas. Special orders elsewhere in Canada will be considered. I am not equipped to deal with international orders.
I now include prints* in my pricing, and I will also provide you with high quality digital files that you can use as many times as you like (one file will be sized specifically for Facebook sharing). You may use the files however you want- from printing wall art / special occasion cards to puzzle gifts, custom mugs etc. The files can also be shared unlimitedly online (ie. Facebook).
